Is It Easier to Find Cheap Bike Insurance Than Cheap Car Insurance

There are many advantages to riding a motorcycle instead of driving a car and one of the biggest is the cost. It is much cheaper to buy and operate a bike than it is a car. It is also cheaper to insure a motorcycle. This confuses a lot of people who just assume that because bikes are more dangerous than cars they must cost more to insure. So why is it easier to find cheap bike insurance than cheap car insurance? The answer is because the biggest risk to the insurance company is the cost of liability insurance.

The reason that bike insurance is cheaper than car insurance is that a car is far more likely to kill or injure somebody in an accident. In a motorcycle accident the rider is far and away the most likely person to get hurt, that really doesn’t matter to the insurance company. For an insurance company the biggest risk is having to pay out damages for an accident cause by somebody that they insured, that’s why liability insurance is the most expensive part of insuring a vehicle according to www.carolenash.com. Since the damage a bike can do is much more limited that the damage a car can do there is far less risk for the insurance company. That of course means lower premiums.

Next generation of Ford Mustang will be getting independent rear suspension, global RWD platform

The 2011 Ford Mustang was just unveiled at the recent 2010 Detroit Auto Show but the plans for improving the next generation of thoroughbred is already circulating around the auto world. The carmaker hints of an independent suspension and a global platform.

It may be hard to believe but the present Mustang still uses the 1960s design of utilizing a solid axle. The suspension might be considered low tech but the Mustang delivers one solid performance.

The update to a rear suspension for the Mustang will place it on the same grounds with the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. The next gen Mustang might give the Camaro a good neck to neck battle when it comes into production by 2014. The release of the new Mustang will coincide with the unit’s 50th year anniversary and will of course deserve some special treatment.

Putting the car into a global RWD platform will also allow the Mustang to be more performance-focused. The new platform will allow a good balance of the new chassis, handling, and the version of the twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine under its hood.
